LOCATION NOTES:

Picturesque Marina Del Rey is one of those most oft-used Angels filming locations and created the perfect setting for Jill's rendezvous with Escobar and his men. It was here that the cops helped the Angels bust Escobar's shipboard drug ring on the "Sweet Sue" in slip 22, and where they ultimately took down Escobar himself with a well-wielded oar and fishing net.

This entire area has been extensively renovated and today looks extremely upscale. The dock itself where the oar action went down is still in existence, although it has been completely remodeled, along with most of the building and structures nearby.

Considered one of the largest man-made boat harbors in the United States, the marina can accomodate well over 5,000 boats and is bounded by a variety of luxury condos, apartment houses and hotels - like the Marina International Hotel (better known as The Seawave Hotel).
